Cold process soap and more handmade from scratch in heart of the Burren, Ireland by Tina Robinson & Kevin Lynch. After their second son was born with eczema in 2009 they began looking for an alternative to commercial chemical products and from there the Airmid range developed. Airmid is the celtic Irish goddess of healing herbs.
"It is the purity of the products that makes them so effective"
The Airmid Natural Handmade Soap range is made from scratch the old-fashioned way using the slow cold process method so the goodness of the natural ingredients are preserved for you as much as possible. We only use local raw honey and beeswax from the Burren region, on Ireland's west coast.
All soaps are made in small batches and cut by hand. They are cured for 4-6 weeks to ensure a long lasting quality bar.
Only the finest quality plant waxes, oils, butters, essential oils and herbs are chosen to create moisturising, luxurious, fluffy lather soap which is naturally gentle on skin. Our home grown herbs and flowers make our
handmade soaps very special and unique. Our wooden soap dishes are also made locally.
Glycerin produced in the soap making process is what creates the lovely, silky feel that people typically associate with real handmade soap and is packed full of skin loving vitamins & minerals.
The range now includes a variety handmade soaps, foot soap, kitchen soap, gardener's soap, shaving soap, solid shampoo bars, solid lotion cubes, bath melts and gift sets.
